A natural cellulose fiber rope with a soft, flexible feel and low-to-moderate strength. Absorbs water and sinks rather than floats, and offers only moderate resistance to UV and chemicals compared to synthetic ropes. Popular for decorative use, macrame and craft work, gym and fitness ropes, and general-purpose tying where a soft, natural-fiber grip is preferred.
A natural fiber rope made from Agave plant fibers, with low strength and low stretch. Does not float and has good UV resistance. Popular for gardening use and cat scratching posts.
A thermoplastic polymer rope with moderate strength and moderate stretch. Floats on water, making it a popular choice for pool lanes, water sports, and safety lines. UV resistance is poor, but it has excellent acid resistance.
Flat woven strap with more elasticity than polyester, suited to leashes, collars, and backpack straps.
